This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Act as the primary operational contact for the Callidus (SAP Commissions) platform while also serving as the backup system administrator.
• Oversee the daily relationship with the implementation partner.
• Organize and facilitate recurring meetings with internal stakeholders regarding system deliverables, timelines, and outstanding issues.
• Monitor Callidus configuration updates, enhancements, and defect resolutions; create status reports and escalate risks as necessary.
• Conduct testing of system updates prior to production rollout and document defects along with their resolution timelines.
• Manage the annual budget for the implementation partner and reconcile vendor invoices accordingly.
• Supervise the Salesforce intake queue for updates related to Account, Opportunity, and compensation data.
• Contribute to improvements in the compensation process, system, plan structure, and quota/modeling tools.
• Calculate, validate, and reconcile commission and incentive payments using Excel.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based models and calculators for plan designs, quota structures, and specific edge cases.
• Conduct daily audits of data intake and address any data defects and processing delays.
• Generate the monthly accrual file for Accounting & Finance and extract commission calculations for payout approval.
• Lead compensation audit workflows and fulfill ad hoc audit requests in collaboration with the legal team.
• Create performance-versus-goal tracking and KPI reports utilizing Salesforce, data warehouse, and Callidus data.
• Collaborate with Sales and Sales Operations leadership to produce Annual Comp Structure & Plan documents.
• Provide performance reporting for sales initiatives, promotions, new customers, program ROI, and various ad hoc analyses.
• Address complex intake requests and sales force inquiries through compensation support channels.
• Investigate and resolve seller compensation inquiries, payout discrepancies, and calculation challenges.
• Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes and enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Engage in automation, AI-driven validation, and other team-led enhancements.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales compensation administration, sales operations, or a similar analytical role.
• Understanding of the mechanics of sales compensation plans and their impact on sales behavior and alignment with broader sales organization objectives.
• Required hands-on experience with SAP Callidus (SAP Commissions) or a comparable incentive compensation management (ICM) platform.
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM for data management or operational workflows is necessary.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including the use of complex formulas, mathematical/conditional logic, and the capability to build and troubleshoot commission calculations manually, independent of the ICM system.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy in high-volume operational settings.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and successfully complete projects with minimal supervision.
• Effective and clear communication skills; ability to convey technical system issues to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities, with a track record of diligently following through on open items.
• Comfortable with cross-training and adapting across various operational functions.
• Familiarity with data or reporting tools such as SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus.
