This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee credit dispute processes and utilize company resources to investigate account data, ensuring precise credit information is reported.
• Serve as a point of contact between consumer reporting agencies, E-Oscar, and Upstart to address credit bureau concerns and support customer inquiries.
• Guarantee that both direct and indirect credit disputes are reported correctly and handled in a timely manner.
• Investigate and respond to credit disputes in accordance with the FCRA.
• Maintain service standards and update account statuses as needed.
• Manage indirect disputes through e-Oscar and direct disputes within Salesforce.
• Comprehend credit information reported to agencies on a month-to-month basis.
• 1-2 years of experience in credit bureau reporting within a Financial Institution.
• Expertise in credit dispute resolution with thorough knowledge and familiarity with credit reporting agencies.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in using e-Oscar.
• Understanding of the Metro2 format and its reporting standards.
• Strong grasp of essential credit reporting laws, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) (preferred).
• 3-5 years of practical experience in credit dispute resolution, dealing with a diverse array of dispute types (preferred).
• Experience in reviewing complex credit files and transaction histories to pinpoint errors or discrepancies (preferred).
• High School Diploma and/or GED or relevant equivalent experience (preferred).
• Capability to work across East/West coast time zones.
