Senior Credit Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Evaluate audited financial information to advise senior management on credit limits, payment terms, and adjustments to credit decisions.

• Work in conjunction with credit insurance providers and brokers to obtain suitable coverage for customers and transactions.

• Manage Letters of Credit and Parent Guaranty documentation to ensure compliance with credit policies and international trade laws.

• Collaborate with internal finance and sales teams to facilitate efficient credit processes.

• Authorize and release credit capacity for shipments based on customer creditworthiness and anticipated accounts receivable balances.

• Address credit-related concerns with customers while fostering positive business relationships.

• Track customer payment behaviors, aging reports, and overdue accounts to pinpoint and proactively mitigate emerging credit risks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a prestigious university in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent experience.

• 7 to 10+ years of experience in credit analysis and credit risk management, ideally within the high-tech sector.

• Experience handling large transactions and intricate financial structures.

• Strong attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis software.

• Familiarity with ERP systems and data analytics tools.

• Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks effectively, and excel in a fast-paced environment.

• Proactive, adaptable, and dedicated to ongoing process enhancement.

• AI-oriented mindset with an interest in automation and operational efficiency.

• Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CBA) preferred as distinguishing qualifications.

• Proficiency with credit risk management tools and financial systems, including SAP.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and complex financial modeling capabilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate effective partnerships across all levels of the organization.
