This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.
• Supervise and coordinate clinical trial activities in accordance with the protocol, regulatory standards, and industry practices.
• Lead clinical trial monitoring activities that require technical expertise, emphasizing quality and ongoing improvement.
• Oversee clinical trial sites to ensure compliance with study protocols, regulatory standards, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
• Perform site visits to evaluate site performance, address issues, and support the successful execution of trials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate data collection and reporting.
• Offer training and support to site personnel and other Clinical Research Associates (CRAs).
• Develop and sustain relationships with site staff and stakeholders to enhance the efficiency of trial operations.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or a healthcare-related field.
• 3-5 years of CRA monitoring experience within CRO/pharma settings.
• Strong background as a CRA, with experience managing intricate protocols.
• Experience with medical devices is preferred but not mandatory.
• Orthopedic experience is advantageous but not required.
• Background in sports medicine, trauma, or similar therapeutic areas would be beneficial.
• Extensive experience as a Clinical Research Associate, with a comprehensive understanding of clinical trial processes and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple sites and projects concurrently, with robust organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in monitoring practices, data integrity, and site management.
• Familiarity with relevant clinical trial software and tools.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the capacity to influence and ensure compliance in a complex environment.
• Willingness to travel as necessary (approximately 60%).
• Occasional travel within Canada may be required.
