Senior Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create persuasive case themes to counter plaintiff arguments

• Manage court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials independently

• Collaborate effectively within a team of varying experience levels

• Maintain regular communication with clients

• Build and nurture relationships with current and prospective clients

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys

• Oversee high-stakes litigation cases and assume full case management responsibilities

• Address all aspects of discovery and trial preparation

⛳️ Requirements

• An active bar license in the State of California is mandatory

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited institution

• Must hold a license in your respective state

• A minimum of 8 years of substantial litigation experience, particularly in litigation support, depositions, and trial preparation

• Capability to handle full case responsibilities, including all aspects of discovery and trial

• Experience in managing insurance defense cases is preferred

• Familiarity with time management systems

• Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Ability to operate independently with little supervision

• Exceptional listening, verbal, and written communication skills

• Professional appearance and demeanor are essential
