Senior Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create persuasive case themes that address plaintiff sympathy or anger strategies.

• Manage court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials independently.

• Collaborate with attorneys of various experience levels.

• Maintain regular communication with clients.

• Build and nurture relationships with current and potential firm clients.

• Offer guidance and support to junior attorneys.

• Oversee complete litigation cases, including discovery and trial preparation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited institution.

• Must possess an active California bar license.

• At least 8 years of litigation experience, particularly in litigation support, depositions, and trial preparation.

• Capable of managing all aspects of case handling, including discovery and trial.

• Preferred experience in handling insurance defense cases.

• Familiarity with time management systems is advantageous.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Ability to think critically and act autonomously with minimal oversight.

• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor.
