This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide expert guidance to clients on eDiscovery and Information Governance matters.
• Collaborate closely with client teams to pinpoint legal challenges and offer legal analysis and solutions.
• Advise Firm team members regarding relevant laws and the interpretation of legal documents.
• Keep the Firm updated on new legislation, regulations, and industry developments.
• Support the creation of policies and training initiatives.
• Meet the timekeeping standards set by Redgrave LLP.
• Develop and implement an annual business development strategy.
• Identify opportunities for business development and cultivate new client relationships.
• Lead client engagements and teams with minimal oversight.
• Deliver exceptional client work products that require little to no revisions.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.
• Foster cohesive teams for client engagements.
• Provide technical expertise and insights.
• Engage with and manage a diverse range of clients.
• Maintain precise time records and adhere to time-entry deadlines.
• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.
• Minimum of 10 years of law firm experience in managing eDiscovery for complex litigations and investigations.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• Admitted to a US bar and willing to obtain DC admission if not already licensed in a Redgrave jurisdiction.
• Proficient in conducting legal research.
• Skilled in drafting complex discovery-related and information governance documentation.
• Capable of creating talking points and outlines for client meetings, custodian interviews, meet-and-confer sessions, and motion hearings.
• Experience working directly with clients, merits firms, and other co-counsel.
• Ability to collaborate with experts, including task and matter management and preparation for oral testimony.
• Active participation in industry-relevant organizations/groups.
• Proven ability and thought leadership in one or more practice areas beneficial to the Firm.
• Strong skills in technical expertise, client management, project planning, facilitation, and leadership.
• Exceptional organizational, written, and oral communication skills, along with strong interpersonal, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of legal principles related to eDiscovery, information governance, and data privacy.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current and evolving laws, legislation, and practices.
• Ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
• Technologically proficient with excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time and internationally.
• Physical capability to perform the outlined duties, including keyboard usage, manual dexterity, and closely examining materials.
