This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary commercial counsel for the Go-to-Market team, focusing on structuring, negotiating, and finalizing intricate enterprise, strategic, and partnership agreements related to AI services, PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS.
• Serve as a practical, solutions-driven advisor to Sales and various business stakeholders, offering business-centric guidance concerning risk distribution and legal as well as regulatory obligations.
• Develop and enhance the commercial legal framework, which includes templates, playbooks, risk assessment frameworks, AI-driven processes, contract lifecycle management, and additional resources that facilitate an efficient and scalable GTM operation.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Operations on Quote-to-Cash processes, automation, and improvements in legal tools.
• Provide counsel on marketing and communications, including associated legal, regulatory, reputational, contractual, and privacy risks.
• Lead or partake in special projects and other high-priority initiatives alongside the Associate General Counsel, General Counsel, and cross-functional leaders.
• Around 8+ years of legal experience, with substantial in-house experience in managing complex commercial transactions within the technology sector.
• Demonstrated expertise in structuring and negotiating advanced enterprise and partnership agreements, preferably involving enterprise software, cloud services, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, or AI solutions.
• Proven experience in building and scaling commercial legal processes and infrastructure, including templates, playbooks, CLM systems, and legal operations workflows.
• Strong business acumen and negotiation capabilities, with the proficiency to evaluate legal and commercial risks while translating complex matters into actionable advice.
• Established ability to collaborate effectively with Sales/GTM and other cross-functional stakeholders as well as senior leadership.
• A proactive, cooperative, and humble approach, with a readiness to take significant ownership in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of AI-related regulatory trends, marketing and advertising law, or other emerging technology concerns is advantageous.
• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
