This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create, assess, and negotiate commercial agreements, encompassing customer, vendor, partner, licensing, SaaS contracts, NDAs, and various daily contracts.
• Work alongside business teams to streamline contract formats, templates, and playbooks, enhancing the efficiency of deal execution.
• Assist in the management and execution of Elite’s compliance program, policies, and procedures.
• Provide guidance to commercial and product teams on compliance and regulatory issues.
• Counsel the business on matters pertaining to privacy and data-security law, as well as relevant laws, regulations, rules, and industry standards.
• Offer legal advice on risk issues associated with AI development and usage, including new AI laws and regulations.
• Contribute to the development of internal AI-use policies.
• Identify, assess, and advocate for AI and legal-technology tools, such as contract lifecycle management and AI-enhanced drafting and review.
• Support general corporate matters, including corporate governance and intellectual property.
• Execute additional responsibilities that align with department and company objectives.
• Report directly to the General Counsel.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing.
• 5-7 years of pertinent legal experience, both in-house and at a law firm, with a robust background in commercial contract drafting and negotiation, compliance, and privacy.
• Previous in-house experience in the SaaS or technology sector is essential, with a minimum of 3-4 years in-house.
• Authentic interest in artificial intelligence and readiness to explore generative AI tools.
• Ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies and legal tech platforms, focusing on automation and process enhancement.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the capacity to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
• Strong judgment and a practical, business-oriented approach to managing legal risk.
• Capability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adjust to changing business priorities.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% as business needs dictate.

• Sedentary physical capability, primarily involving desk/computer work.
