Associate Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer practical legal counsel regarding commercial contracts, including group business agreements and vendor/supplier contracts.

• Assist with litigation and claims related to general liability, workers’ compensation, third-party subpoenas, and insurance coverage issues.

• Provide advice on workforce-related legal risks, encompassing employment contracts, workplace safety, contract labor, and other employment issues needing attorney review.

• Create and sustain legal playbooks, templates, checklists, guidelines, and various resources.

• Recognize opportunities to enhance legal processes and work in collaboration with Legal Operations and other departments.

• Assist with additional legal matters and responsibilities essential for promoting organizational goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience in private practice.

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. state.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

• Capability to convert legal requirements into clear, practical, and scalable guidance.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with business leaders, Legal Operations, HR, and other organizational stakeholders.

• Willingness to travel up to 15%.

• Capability to perform tasks that require prolonged periods at a computer.
