This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Spearhead month-end and year-end financial closing activities for businesses based in the US.

• Utilize AI technologies such as ChatGPT Advanced Data Analysis and Microsoft Copilot to assess financial data, pinpoint spending irregularities, and create narrative performance reports.

• Create and sustain rolling cash flow projections, financial models, and yearly budgets through AI-enhanced forecasting software.

• Execute and manage AI-powered OCR and AP/AR automation solutions like Bill.com and Dext.

• Compile and deliver monthly financial performance reports, encompassing P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow, to executive leadership.

• Partner with external CPA firms to address tax preparation and compliance obligations.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-6+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or as a Controller.

• In-depth knowledge of US accounting standards (US GAAP).

• Experience collaborating with US-based clients.

• Practical expertise or strong competency in using Generative AI tools, including ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot for Finance, for writing financial summaries, developing macros, or formulating complex Excel formulas/scripts.

• Hands-on familiarity with cloud accounting solutions such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, or NetSuite, including native AI or automation integrations.

• Advanced proficiency in English (C1).

• Exceptional executive communication and presentation abilities.

• High levels of integrity and autonomy.
