This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee the financial closing processes at the end of each month and year for businesses based in the US.

• Utilize AI technologies to scrutinize extensive financial datasets, spot spending irregularities, and produce detailed financial performance narratives.

• Create and sustain ongoing cash flow forecasts, financial models, and yearly budgets through AI-enhanced forecasting tools.

• Execute and manage AI-powered OCR and automation solutions for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, such as Bill.com or Dext.

• Compile and deliver monthly financial performance reports, which include Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements.

• Work collaboratively with external CPA firms to ensure compliance and tax preparation requirements are met.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-6+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance, or as a Controller.

• Strong comprehension of US accounting standards (US GAAP).

• Experience engaging with clients based in the US.

• Practical knowledge or strong expertise in utilizing Generative AI tools, such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot for Finance, to craft financial summaries, develop macros, or write intricate Excel formulas/scripts.

• Direct experience with cloud-based accounting platforms like QuickBooks Online, Xero, or NetSuite, including native AI or automation integrations.

• Advanced proficiency in English (C1).

• Exceptional executive communication and presentation abilities.

• A high level of integrity, independence, and a commitment to modernizing conventional financial processes.
