This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee the month-end and year-end financial closing procedures for businesses based in the US

• Utilize AI tools like ChatGPT Advanced Data Analysis and Microsoft Copilot to scrutinize financial data sets, pinpoint spending irregularities, and produce narrative performance summaries

• Create and manage rolling cash flow projections, financial models, and annual budgets with the assistance of AI-powered forecasting software

• Implement and supervise AI-driven OCR and accounts payable/accounts receivable automation solutions such as Bill.com or Dext

• Prepare and deliver monthly financial performance reports, including Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements, to executive leadership

• Work closely with external CPA firms on tax preparation and compliance matters

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-6+ years of relevant experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Corporate Finance, or as a Controller

• Strong knowledge of US accounting standards (US GAAP)

• Experience collaborating with US-based clients

• Practical experience or considerable proficiency with Generative AI tools, including ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot for Finance, for drafting financial summaries, developing macros, or crafting intricate Excel formulas/scripts

• Direct experience with cloud accounting platforms such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, or NetSuite, including native AI or automation features

• Advanced proficiency in English (C1 level)

• Outstanding communication and presentation skills suitable for executive audiences

• High level of integrity and ability to work autonomously

• Motivation to innovate and modernize conventional financial processes
