Senior Controller – AI-Enabled

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Oversee the month-end and year-end financial closing activities for businesses based in the US.

• Utilize AI tools like ChatGPT Advanced Data Analysis and Microsoft Copilot to evaluate financial datasets.

• Detect spending irregularities and produce comprehensive narrative reports on financial performance.

• Create and sustain ongoing cash flow forecasts, financial models, and yearly budgets.

• Employ AI-assisted forecasting software to anticipate financial trends.

• Implement and manage AI-driven OCR and AP/AR automation tools, including Bill.com or Dext.

• Optimize invoice processing and minimize human error.

• Compile and deliver monthly financial performance packages, covering P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.

• Partner with external CPA firms to address tax preparation and compliance needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–6+ years of advancing experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or as a Controller.

• Solid grasp of US accounting standards (US GAAP).

• Experience engaging with US-based clients.

• Practical experience or strong proficiency with Generative AI tools, including ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot for Finance.

• Capacity to draft financial summaries, create macros, or develop complex Excel formulas/scripts.

• Hands-on familiarity with cloud accounting platforms such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, or NetSuite.

• Experience with native AI or automation integrations in cloud accounting systems.

• Advanced proficiency in English (C1).

• Exceptional executive communication and presentation capabilities.
