This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Oversee the financial closing processes at the end of each month and year for businesses based in the US.

• Utilize AI technologies such as ChatGPT Advanced Data Analysis and Microsoft Copilot to assess financial datasets, detect spending irregularities, and create narrative performance reports.

• Create and sustain rolling cash flow projections, financial models, and yearly budgets through AI-enhanced forecasting tools.

• Introduce and manage AI-powered OCR and automation solutions for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, such as Bill.com or Dext.

• Compile and deliver monthly financial performance reports, encompassing P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements, to the executive team.

• Work in partnership with external CPA firms to address tax preparation and compliance obligations.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-6+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or as a Controller.

• Solid knowledge of US accounting standards (US GAAP).

• Experience collaborating with clients based in the US.

• Practical experience or significant expertise in using Generative AI tools, such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot for Finance, to draft financial summaries, create macros, or develop complex Excel formulas/scripts.

• Hands-on experience with cloud accounting solutions like QuickBooks Online, Xero, or NetSuite, including their native AI or automation features.

• Proficient in English at an advanced level (C1).

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills suitable for executive audiences.

• High level of integrity and ability to work independently.

• Passion for modernizing conventional financial processes.
