This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement the regional contract management strategy in line with business goals.
• Recognize and address contractual, commercial, and legal risks throughout the project portfolio.
• Offer advice on intricate disputes, including multi-party claims, force majeure, and termination situations.
• Influence commercial positioning from the tender phase to project completion.
• Ensure that terms are passed down to suppliers, contractors, and partners.
• Spearhead the identification, negotiation, and resolution of high-value offensive and defensive claims.
• Utilize delay, disruption, and quantum assessment methods to establish claim positions.
• Collaborate with Legal and project teams on mediation, arbitration, and litigation matters.
• Guide and develop the Regional Contract Management Team.
• Set performance objectives and oversee staffing requirements.
• Optimize workload efficiency.
• Uphold standard work practices and quality protocols.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen.
• Document lessons learned to enhance commercial excellence.
• Report directly to the Regional Contract Management Leader.
• Hold overall responsibility for contractual activities across the Datacenter FTM, Utilities, O&G, and FACTS portfolio.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, or Business Administration from an accredited institution.
• At least 15 years of experience in large-scale, complex infrastructure projects.
• Background in Energy, Power Transmission, Oil & Gas, or Industrial Construction.
• Proven success in managing the complete lifecycle of complex claims.
• Experience in leading high-stakes negotiations.
• Extensive familiarity with FIDIC, NEC, EPC, or customized contracts.
• Established record in regional or functional leadership roles.
• Experience in managing professional teams.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of a drug screening, if applicable.
• Proficiency in French is a plus.
