This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a principal advisor and key partner in overseeing the complete lifecycle of government and commercial contracts within a technical consulting framework.
• Offer subject matter expertise regarding government contracting processes and protocols.
• Evaluate contract and programmatic requirements, special provisions, terms, and conditions for compliance.
• Direct the development, negotiation, and management of subcontracts and supplier agreements.
• Assess complex RFPs, RFQs, and subcontract agreement terms for compliance risks and potential opportunities.
• Review, draft, and negotiate NDAs, Teaming Agreements, Master Service Agreements, and Subcontracts.
• Represent the organization to U.S. Government, commercial, and public/private institution clients.
• Address contractual matters and disputes through negotiation and stakeholder communication, involving legal counsel when necessary.
• Collaborate with accounting, sales, operations, and project management to align contract terms with organizational goals.
• Contribute to the development of contracting policies, templates, procedures, and process enhancements.
• Perform additional assigned responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Contract Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in contracts, subcontracts, or a combination of relevant experiences.
• Preference for experience in government contracts and subcontracts.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Proficient negotiation skills.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Sound judgment in decision-making and problem-solving.
• Ability to organize, manage, and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Comprehensive knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations and general contracting principles.
• Security clearance: None required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, including marijuana screening in accordance with federal law.
