Senior Contract Manager – Energy Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Lead the negotiation and commercial evaluation of Supply Agreements, MSAs, LTSAs, EPC-related contracts, and strategic customer agreements.

• Collaborate with Legal teams to pinpoint and negotiate essential commercial terms, liabilities, warranties, indemnities, and risk management strategies.

• Assist in the execution of contracts for utility-scale BESS, Solar, PCS, and Microgrid infrastructure projects.

• Work closely with Engineering and Product teams to ensure contractual obligations align with technical and operational specifications.

• Oversee post-award contractual commitments, including milestone tracking, reporting requirements, and compliance with commercial standards.

• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among Sales, Legal, Finance, Procurement, and Operations teams.

• Aid in contract lifecycle management, documentation related to commercial matters, and internal approval workflows.

• Assess and mitigate commercial, operational, and financial risks linked to complex energy infrastructure agreements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Contract Management, Commercial Management, or Legal Contracts within the Renewable Energy, Energy Infrastructure, Utilities, EPC, or similar sectors.

• Extensive experience in negotiating commercial agreements, supply contracts, service agreements, and infrastructure-related deals.

• Proficient understanding of commercial risk management, warranties, liability limitations, indemnities, and contractual safeguards.

• Preferred experience in supporting utility-scale BESS, Solar, Microgrid, Data Center, or other critical infrastructure projects.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Proven experience in cross-functional roles within dynamic, matrixed organizations.

• Familiarity with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Candidates must possess authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis without requiring current or future sponsorship.

• Preferred experience in EPC contract management.

• Experience supporting hyperscalers, utilities, developers, or significant infrastructure clients is a plus.

• Knowledge of DOE, FERC, and the broader energy regulatory landscape.

• NCMA, PMP, or other relevant professional certifications are preferred.

• Fluency in Mandarin is preferred.

• Experience with international commercial agreements and global supplier/customer relations is advantageous.

• Interest or experience in emerging technologies, power electronics, renewable energy, or energy infrastructure markets is desirable.
