This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.
• Oversee the operational elements and execution of contractual management within large health systems that are aligned.
• Collaborate with Field Sales Leadership, Commercial Strategy & Execution, Source-View, Offer Development, Legal, Healthcare Compliance, Finance, and other internal stakeholders.
• Handle contracting, pricing, and day-to-day management of Ethicon Platforms for approximately 6–12 major health system clients.
• Assist in developing account strategies in conjunction with Area Leadership and local FSO teams.
• Manage contract operations to drive revenue growth, enhance pricing performance, support NPIs, and mitigate erosion.
• Act as a SourceView super user across aligned IDNs and aid key IDNs with SourceView opportunities.
• Track contract compliance and performance objectives utilizing SourceView/Optimizer analytics.
• Engage with KAM leadership to negotiate contractual offers or modifications.
• Provide access to health systems for targeted product categories and new product launches.
• Establish and maintain relationships with economic decision makers, Supply Chain, Value Analysis Committees, and other system-wide decision-making bodies.
• Manage RFPs, contract renewals, deal creation, and contract execution.
• Partner with AVP/RSM on final contract-term negotiations as sanctioned by Contract Management.
• Work collaboratively with the broader IDN account team to achieve Ethicon’s overarching goals.
• Co-develop contract strategy and pricing across Ethicon platforms and product lines.
• Grasp Ethicon products, offerings, strategies, and business objectives.
• A bachelor’s degree or higher is mandatory.
• A minimum of 7 years of demonstrated experience is essential.
• Comprehensive understanding of the U.S. healthcare market, including industry trends, customer dynamics, and legal and compliance standards.
• Financial literacy, including knowledge of gross profit, erosion, and pricing implications.
• Experience in a highly matrixed environment, influencing multiple stakeholder groups with an enterprise-wide perspective.
• Capability to process diverse, complex, and often conflicting information to formulate executable contract strategies.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills.
• Proven capacity to manage differing opinions and viewpoints.
• Relevant product knowledge, particularly relating to Ethicon Platforms and capital.
• Preferred experience in contracting, marketing, sales, or sales management.
• Willingness to travel domestically approximately 60% of the time.
