Senior Contract Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the Heavy-Duty gas power technology projects division at GE Vernova

• Support all stages (ITO and OTR) of projects as a non-legal contract specialist

• Engage in negotiations and manage commercial challenges

• Oversee relationships with customers and suppliers

• Address claims, disputes, and insurance-related matters

• Cultivate specialized expertise in the contract management field

• Act as a resource for best practices and quality assurance

• Participate in the development of strategies and policies

• Ensure successful delivery within your area of responsibility

• Convey complex or sensitive information and foster consensus

• Serve as a mentor for less experienced team members

• Guide small projects with moderate risks and resource demands

• Influence methodologies, projects, programs, priorities, and operational approaches within the functional area

• Utilize technical experience and expertise for data analysis to back recommendations

• Make decisions and resolve moderately complex issues using internal and limited external resources

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

• At least 6 years of experience in contract interpretation, administration, execution, or close collaboration with contract management

• Anticipated travel of approximately 10–15%

• Working hours should align with the EST time zone to support business and client needs

• Experience in reading and writing contracts

• Exceptional presentation and negotiation abilities

• Capability to manage multiple complex issues simultaneously

• Over 6 years of experience in claims management

• Experience in negotiating construction claims

• Background as a developer or EPC, ideally within the Power Industry

• Legally permitted to work in the United States

• Successful completion of a drug screening, if applicable

• A Master's degree is preferred

• Strong sense of urgency and focus on customer responsiveness
