Senior Contract Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist with the commercial aspects of the Heavy-Duty gas power technology projects at GE Vernova.

• Support all stages (ITO and OTR) of projects as a non-legal contract specialist.

• Engage in negotiations.

• Oversee commercial matters, as well as relationships with customers and suppliers, including claims, disputes, and insurance.

• Cultivate specialized expertise in the contract management field.

• Act as a resource for best practices and quality assurance.

• Contribute to the development of strategies and policies.

• Ensure timely delivery within the designated area of responsibility.

• Communicate complex or sensitive information effectively and build consensus among stakeholders.

• Serve as a mentor for less-experienced team members.

• Lead small projects that entail moderate risks and resource needs.

• Leverage technical knowledge and expertise for data analysis to support informed recommendations.

• Make decisions and resolve moderately complex issues impacting the function.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

• At least 6 years of experience in contract interpretation, administration, execution, or closely related contract management roles.

• Anticipated travel of approximately 10–15%.

• Working hours need to align with the EST time zone to accommodate business needs and clients.

• Experience in reading and drafting contracts.

• Strong presentation and negotiation capabilities.

• Ability to manage multiple complex issues simultaneously.

• Over 6 years of experience in claims management.

• Experience in negotiating construction claims.

• Background in Developer or EPC roles, preferably within the Power Industry.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Successful completion of a drug screening, if applicable.
