Senior Content Marketer, SEO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Conduct research and compose blog posts, guides, and landing pages aimed at achieving high rankings and fulfilling search intent.

• Implement keyword research, search intent analysis, and best practices in on-page SEO.

• Assist in making customer content discoverable and referenced by AI search platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overviews.

• Review all content produced by accounts prior to delivery to the customer.

• Update and enhance existing content to boost rankings, engagement, and visibility.

• Analyze content that is underperforming using GA4, Google Search Console, and Ahrefs, and suggest prioritized enhancements.

• Support the management of freelance writers, create briefs, and uphold customer brand guidelines and reference materials.

• Act on feedback from customers and monitor it for future assignments.

• Engage directly with customers regarding deliverables, timelines, revisions, and participate in customer calls.

• Enhance AI-assisted content workflows through practical application and feedback.

• Contribute to performance reporting initiatives.

• Utilize AI tools judiciously in content creation.

• Participate in team knowledge-sharing and internal projects.

• Take responsibility for content associated with assigned customers and collaborate with account strategy and customer relationship teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in content marketing, including a minimum of 2 years in B2B SaaS.

• Outstanding writing skills and ability to produce publication-ready content with few revisions.

• Strong editorial judgment.

• Comprehensive understanding of SEO, including keyword research, on-page optimization, content audits, and competitive analysis.

• Developing fluency in AEO and practical skills in optimizing content for AI tools.

• Proficiency with GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and Clearscope or similar tools.

• Experience in briefing, editing, or overseeing freelancers or team members.

• Effective customer communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts, contributors, and deadlines.

• Fluency in AI and responsible utilization of AI tools, including refining AI-assisted drafts to meet publication standards.

• Technical curiosity regarding software products and businesses.

• A sense of ownership and adaptability.

• Availability for at least 4 hours of overlap with US time zones (EST/PST).
