This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Transform intricate technologies, products, and business concepts into compelling content across various platforms, including websites, landing pages, campaign messages, thought-leadership articles, case studies, email campaigns, social media content, sales enablement materials, and video scripts.

• Adjust voice, depth, and technical complexity to cater to different brands, audiences, and stages of the buyer journey.

• Develop content focused on specified audiences, business goals, and conversion actions.

• Conduct interviews with subject-matter experts to create unique and insightful content.

• Refine and enhance work produced by internal contributors, freelancers, and AI tools.

• Oversee the content pipeline from intake and prioritization to production, approval, and publication.

• Generate briefs, assignments, timelines, and deliverables based on strategies and campaign concepts.

• Align projects with suitable full-time or fractional resources.

• Coordinate efforts among writers, designers, strategists, video partners, subject-matter experts, and client stakeholders.

• Ensure visibility into planned, ongoing, blocked, review, and publish-ready tasks.

• Set standards for briefing, drafting, reviewing, version control, approvals, and content reuse.

• Develop and maintain reusable AI prompts, agents, templates, and workflows.

• Establish review systems to assess content against briefs, brand voice, audience needs, factual accuracy, and conversion goals.

• Evaluate tools and processes, adopting those that yield measurable enhancements.

• Collaborate with GTM, demand generation, SEO, paid media, web, and sales teams.

• Utilize performance data to pinpoint messages, formats, and topics that foster engagement and conversion.

• Propose strategies for content refresh, repurposing, and distribution.

• Assist in strategy and production for selected B2B social media accounts.

• Create themes for social content, channel plans, and campaign ideas.

• Compose and refine social posts, executive thought leadership pieces, campaign series, and paid social copy.

• Manage social content workflows through ideation, briefing, writing, design, client review, scheduling, and publication.

• Engage in client calls, present concepts, manage feedback, and maintain clarity on priorities and deliverables.

• Establish a dependable content production system, enhance content velocity, create replicable AI-assisted workflows, and elevate content and social account performance within the first six months.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 6–8 years of experience in creating and managing content for B2B technology firms.

• A portfolio showcasing exceptional short-form and long-form writing across diverse formats.

• Strong instincts for conversion copywriting and an understanding of how content contributes to pipeline, revenue, and customer growth.

• Experience in identifying and tracking KPIs across content initiatives, with the ability to adjust strategy based on data insights.

• Proficiency in translating technical or complex subjects into clear, distinct messaging.

• Proven ability to manage a high-volume production queue involving numerous contributors and stakeholders.

• Experience directing and editing freelance, fractional, or internal creative teams.

• Familiarity with modern AI tools and hands-on experience in establishing repeatable AI-assisted content workflows.

• Strong editorial judgment, with the capability to identify generic, inaccurate, or off-brand AI-generated content.

• Experience in supporting B2B social media strategies, content production, and client relations.

• Ability to confidently engage in client discussions, present recommendations, and navigate feedback.

• Excellent prioritization, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Comfort in a fast-paced environment where priorities, formats, and client demands can change rapidly.

• Capability to function as both a hands-on individual contributor and the person responsible for ensuring the overall system operates smoothly.

• Candidates should be ready to provide examples of both long-form and short-form B2B content they have personally authored.

• Candidates should be prepared to discuss their involvement in developing social media strategies, managing content production, and leveraging performance insights to enhance content.
