This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Create and oversee a comprehensive content marketing strategy that aligns with client acquisition, talent acquisition, integrated marketing goals, and audience growth objectives.
• Convert audience insights, business intelligence, market trends, and industry expertise into actionable content marketing strategies targeting key audiences and verticals.
• Specify channel-specific content marketing strategies for SEO, AEO, email, paid media, and conversion pages.
• Develop and maintain a prioritized content marketing roadmap that emphasizes high-intent search opportunities, conversion-oriented landing pages, and campaign-integrated assets.
• Set content marketing standards to enhance consistency, quality, performance, and differentiation.
• Ensure quality, consistency, and performance of marketing content across digital channels and audience journeys.
• Collaborate with channel strategy leads to create SEO/AEO pages, landing pages, email marketing, lifecycle programs, and paid media assets.
• Confirm that content assets meet search intent, user needs, quality answers, and conversion objectives.
• Implement AI-assisted content marketing workflows while ensuring quality, accuracy, compliance, and adherence to brand standards.
• Standardize content quality across high-volume job and solution pages in collaboration with Web teams.
• Define and monitor content marketing KPIs such as leads, inquiries, applications, engagement, conversion rates, organic visibility, and AI-driven visibility.
• Construct attribution models that link content performance to leads, applications, and business outcomes.
• Identify bottlenecks in the funnel and prioritize high-impact optimization opportunities.
• Promote testing and continuous improvement through A/B testing, landing page optimization, and email journey iterations.
• Expand repeatable content marketing playbooks across various segments, roles, industries, solutions, and audience needs.
• Build and lead a centralized content marketing team that supports multiple audiences.
• Establish scalable operations encompassing intake, prioritization, workflows, governance, quality standards, and performance routines.
• Partner with Digital Marketing, Marketing Technology, Web, Integrated Marketing, Field Marketing, Analytics, Brand, and Communications teams.
• Manage agencies and external partners as necessary.
• Encourage continuous learning, feedback, accountability, employee engagement, recognition, and well-being.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, or related leadership roles.
• Demonstrated success in B2B and B2C content marketing with measurable effects on pipeline, conversion, engagement, and revenue.
• Extensive expertise in SEO-driven content marketing strategy, understanding search intent, content performance, and AEO principles.
• Experience in leading multi-channel content marketing initiatives and developing scalable content marketing operations.
• Proven ability to build, lead, and nurture content marketing teams.
• Excellent marketing writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Experience in building a content marketing function from the ground up is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted content marketing tools and workflows is preferred.
• Experience collaborating closely with technical SEO, web, analytics, performance marketing, and marketing technology teams is preferred.
• Background in high-growth, performance-driven marketing environments is preferred.
• Successful completion of a background check is required as a condition of employment.
