Senior Content Engineer, Labs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Test and maintain machinery, laboratories, and challenges

• Assist in the creation of new content

• Research and implement new AI technologies for cybersecurity initiatives

• Collaborate regularly with the Content Development team, Infrastructure team, and other stakeholders

• Generate documentation for new content, including write-ups and walkthroughs

• Investigate current vulnerabilities, exploits, tools, tactics, and procedures pertinent to the target audience

• Contribute to the testing, development, review, and ongoing maintenance of Hack The Box Labs and CTF offerings

• Partner with a global team to produce high-quality cybersecurity content

• Report to the Head of Offensive Content and Labs

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in Penetration Testing

• Strong knowledge of scripting languages: Python, PowerShell, and Bash

• Understanding of process documentation

• Familiarity with AI technologies

• Excellent command of the English language (speaking, reading, writing)

• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail

• Capacity to learn new skills

• Ability to organize and manage multiple projects

• Capability to work independently and remotely

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Highly motivated, with a passion for information security

• Bonus: documented experience in bug bounty hunting and/or CTF challenges

• Bonus: experience with cloud technologies, including Azure/AWS

• Bonus: certifications in penetration testing, such as CPTS/CBBH

• Bonus: Elite Hacker rank on Hack The Box

• Bonus: previous experience in creating vulnerable machines and CTF challenges

• Bonus: familiarity with virtualization technologies, including VMware Workstation, ESXi, and vCenter
