This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +36 more states.
• Oversee comprehensive mixed-method research initiatives, incorporating secondary research, qualitative analysis, concept testing, segmentation, MaxDiff, and pricing.
• Tailor research strategies and methodologies to align with timelines, risk factors, and project requirements while ensuring methodological rigor.
• Track and share customer sentiment through ongoing feedback systems.
• Collaborate with teams to tackle key questions and pinpoint issues and opportunities.
• Act as an insights partner to product teams across the product development lifecycle.
• Create actionable customer segments and personas.
• Analyze competitor offerings, identifying differentiators, gaps, and innovation possibilities.
• Facilitate product and feature innovation and ideation processes.
• Review post-launch member experiences and behavioral data.
• Deliver clear, concise, and impactful research narratives and strategic insights to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Cultivate in-depth domain expertise and connect insights to audience needs and business objectives.
• Work in collaboration with Marketing, Strategy, Product, and User Research teams.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance research design, synthesis, pattern recognition, and insight narratives.
• A minimum of 5 years in consumer insights or market research, including at least 2 years specifically supporting a software product or platform within a technology company.
• Practical experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Proficient in conducting research internally and leveraging vendor partners.
• Previous experience in consumer insights, market research, or user research.
• Adequate experience and confidence to design and direct a research learning plan to support a functional area with minimal guidance.
• Capability to work autonomously within a distributed team setting.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in product analytics using Amplitude or Tableau, as well as design tools like Figma.
• Knowledge of the wellness and wearable technology sector.
• Background in health and/or technology, particularly with products integrating both hardware and software.
• Experience collaborating with international teams and distributed groups.
