Senior Consultant – Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Become a part of TELUS Digital's Salesforce practice implementation team.

• Develop and oversee project plans, track progress and timelines, adjust schedules as necessary, and resolve any issues that arise.

• Handle the daily execution of project implementations, focusing on planning, tracking, documentation, and providing status updates.

• Supervise the production of project deliverables for complex, enterprise-level, and strategic technical projects.

• Lead requirements gathering sessions and contribute to the creation of project deliverables.

• Establish and manage stage-gate reviews to ensure compliance with standards.

• Administer programs in line with the Statement of Work (SOW) and mitigate risks; coordinate Change Orders for any deviations.

• Implement standardized development lifecycle methodologies across projects.

• Discover opportunities to utilize the Salesforce platform and integration tools effectively.

• Engage in end-to-end implementation planning, issue management, communication, and change management processes.

• Cultivate trusted-advisor relationships with client stakeholders through vision and product roadmapping.

• Collaborate with customers and internal technology and product teams to identify and communicate issues.

• Provide hands-on Salesforce configuration and customization for declarative tasks when necessary.

• Work independently, prioritize tasks, and proactively address problems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience managing large teams of 10-20 resources across multiple workstreams.

• Background in managing offshore teams.

• Experience with complex integration and data migration projects.

• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and perform under pressure effectively.

• Familiarity with a hybrid delivery model (waterfall/agile hybrid).

• Capacity to manage and communicate with remote developers outside of traditional business hours.

• Experience implementing medium and enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions.

• Possession of multiple Salesforce.com Certifications (Admin, Consultant, Developer, Architect).

• Demonstrated project leadership skills, including direct responsibility for managing project teams, budgets, and schedules.

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to balance business and technical requirements to develop project plans and estimates.

• Extensive external consulting experience, including CRM consulting and practical Salesforce experience.

• Hands-on skills in configuration and declarative development.

• Strong skills in consultative practices, budget management, and resource management.

• Experience in Financial Services, Insurance, and/or Healthcare is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and/or Salesforce Health Cloud is a plus.

• Experience with another Salesforce SI is beneficial.

• Prior experience as a Salesforce Implementation Consultant is a plus.

• PMP Certification is a plus.

• CSM Certification is a plus.

• Completion of Trailheads and the Salesforce certification path determined with management within 12 months of joining is expected.
