Senior Consultant – SAP, Data Modelling – Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the data management and reporting requirements of clients for insurance transformation initiatives.

• Design, construct, and implement functionalities for data integration and management.

• Develop data models that facilitate integration and reporting needs for analytical applications.

• Collaborate with the SAP Fioneer Software Development and Sales teams.

• Occasionally travel to meet the team on-site.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree or equivalent professional experience is mandatory.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in IT transformation projects is required.

• Initial experience in designing data management systems specifically for the insurance industry.

• A comprehensive understanding of technical mapping, interfacing, and modeling of Financial Services Industry (FSI) products.

• Basic experience in configuring one of the following SAP solutions: SAP FDS, SAP BW on HANA, or SAP BW/4HANA.

• Preferred proficiency in data modeling using ABAP dictionary, SQL, SAP HANA, SAP BTP, or another database.

• Familiarity with AI agents and Claude code is advantageous.

• Demonstrate positive, customer-oriented interpersonal skills and attitude.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

• Proficient in both written and spoken English.
