Senior Consultant – SAP, Data Modelling – Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assess the data management and reporting requirements of clients within the insurance sector.

• Design, construct, and implement capabilities for data integration and management.

• Develop data models that facilitate the integration of analytical applications and meet reporting demands.

• Collaborate with the SAP Fioneer Software Development and Sales teams.

• Support clients in their insurance transformation initiatives.

• Occasionally travel to meet the team on-site in Calgary or Toronto.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is mandatory.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT transformation projects is required.

• Preliminary experience in designing data management processes specific to the insurance field.

• A comprehensive understanding of technical mapping, interfacing, and modeling related to FSI products.

• Basic experience in configuring one of the following SAP solutions: SAP FDS, SAP BW on HANA, or SAP BW/4HANA.

• Preferred proficiency in data modeling using ABAP dictionary, SQL, SAP HANA, SAP BTP, or similar databases.

• Familiarity with AI agents and Claude code is advantageous.

• Demonstrate positive, customer-oriented interpersonal skills and attitude.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

• Excellent proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
