Senior Consultant, OpenShift Infrastructure – Virtualisation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design and execute automated virtualization and container platforms, deployment pipelines, and cloud-compatible application architectures.

• Architect and oversee the implementation of Red Hat OpenShift infrastructure projects, encompassing virtualization and container technologies.

• Develop automated hybrid-cloud application platform solutions that include networking, storage, virtualization, security, logging, monitoring, high availability, and system resilience.

• Create production-ready container and virtualization platforms that are integrated with existing enterprise systems.

• Implement intricate, large-scale container platform solutions in client environments.

• Provide expertise in container orchestration, registries, build strategies, cloud storage, and software-defined networking.

• Assist customers utilizing Kubernetes, OpenShift, OpenShift Virtualization, DevOps, and GitOps methodologies.

• Collaborate with clients in the financial services, retail, telecommunications, and public sectors.

• Ensure collaborative fulfillment of customer needs utilizing Red Hat OpenShift.

• Mentor fellow consultants on DevOps and GitOps in conjunction with container technologies.

• Share lessons learned and best practices with internal and external communities of practice.

• Proven experience leading contemporary cloud platform consulting engagements.

• Experience acting as a strategic advisor to senior IT and business leaders.

• Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Willingness to travel to client locations across London, the UK, and EMEA.

• Proficiency in English is required.

• Nice to Have: Technical knowledge of VMware ESXi software, including vCenter, vSan, and NSX.
