Senior Consultant, MD Claims

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Investigate and verify facts regarding loss for the most intricate automobile accidents.

• Assess coverage, liability, and damages.

• Adjust and negotiate claims within the established limits of authority.

• Mentor and guide junior staff members.

• Manage complex claims related to liability, coverage, property damage, casualty, and personal injury.

• Recognize vehicle components and evaluate potential property damage.

• Identify customer needs and implement suitable customer service techniques.

• Assess potential for subrogation or fraud and determine the handling method.

• Utilize advanced knowledge of company and industry insurance policies and organizational dynamics.

• Suggest process enhancements.

• Independently manage complex auto claim investigations with increased authority.

• Review, evaluate, and negotiate moderate to complex or catastrophic injury claims as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with direct claim ownership, including complex liability and coverage investigations, property damage claims, and casualty claims.

• Strong comprehension of claims quality standards, auditing practices, and industry best practices.

• Experience in coaching and developing others; prior leadership or mentoring experience is highly preferred.

• Excellent communication and influencing abilities.

• Consultative mindset and dedication to operational excellence.

• Active insurance license holders must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and cannot hold external appointments during employment.

• Applicants with a resident producer license must formally surrender it when directed by the licensing team.

• Authorization to work in the United States; the company does not sponsor work visas.

• A dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working remotely.

• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.
