Senior Consultant, Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Analyze, enhance, and implement business processes emphasizing digitalization, automation, customer experience, workflow optimization, and agile organizational structures.

• Independently manage client projects from the planning stage through to successful implementation.

• Ensure compliance with timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints.

• Identify new prospects and formulate innovative solutions.

• Actively participate in the enhancement of the consulting portfolio.

• Assist in formulating forward-thinking strategic concepts.

• Establish and nurture long-lasting relationships with clients and partners.

• Maintain and expand your professional network.

• Contribute to transforming the insurance sector by optimizing processes and driving digitalization alongside strategic consulting.

• Engage in internal decision-making processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training as an insurance specialist and/or a degree in a relevant discipline such as business administration, business information systems, insurance/risk and insurance, industrial engineering, or a similar program with a focus on insurance.

• 3–5 years of experience as a project manager in the insurance industry.

• Ideally, experience in management consulting or within an insurance company.

• Preferably, knowledge of business process management (BPM), digitalization, workflow and input management, Lean Management, or process enhancement.

• Familiarity with insurance processes and the ability to implement complex workflows efficiently and sustainably.

• Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma or other qualifications in operational excellence and process management are advantageous.

• A self-reliant working style, strong organizational skills, and initiative.

• Empathy and the capability to advise clients as a trusted partner.

• Creativity and a solution-focused mindset.

• Willingness to travel to client locations.

• Proficiency in MS Office and digital tools for project management and presentations.
