Senior Consultant, Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Analyze, enhance, and execute business processes focusing on digitization, automation, customer experience, workflow optimization, and agile organizational frameworks.

• Independently manage client projects from the initial planning stages through to implementation.

• Ensure consistent compliance with project timelines, quality benchmarks, and budget constraints.

• Discover new opportunities and devise innovative solutions.

• Assist in shaping the consulting portfolio and contribute to business development efforts.

• Support the creation of progressive concepts for insurance clients.

• Establish and nurture long-lasting relationships with clients and partners.

• Participate in internal decision-making processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training as an insurance clerk and/or a degree in a relevant field such as business administration, business informatics, insurance/risk and insurance, industrial engineering, or related insurance-focused studies.

• 3–5 years of experience as a project manager within the insurance sector, preferably in management consulting or at an insurance company.

• Familiarity with business process management, digitization, workflow and input management, lean management, or process optimization.

• Experience with insurance processes and the ability to design and implement complex workflows efficiently and sustainably.

• Lean Six Sigma or other Operational Excellence and process management certifications are advantageous.

• Independent work style and proactive approach.

• Empathy and the capability to advise clients as an equal partner.

• Creative and solution-oriented mindset.

• Willingness to work remotely from a home office and travel to client locations.

• Proficiency in MS Office and digital tools for project management and presentations.
