This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a subject matter expert in human services programs for BerryDunn projects involving state HHS agency clients.
• Guide the human services business operations team dedicated to the Guam Department of Health and Human Services project.
• Comprehend and implement federal regulations related to human services and public health.
• Spearhead the execution of new federal regulations and waivers.
• Oversee the creation of project artifacts.
• Track corrective action plans and foster continuous quality improvement.
• Recognize the necessity for staff aids and training initiatives.
• Assist in the formation of business processes and standard operating procedures.
• Aid in the adoption of new technology.
• Lead and ensure the timely and budget-compliant delivery of client services.
• Delegate and manage staff while supervising the development of deliverables.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to diverse audiences, including client executive leadership.
• Motivate and inspire project teams, acting as a trusted advisor to clients.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and interviews with clients.
• Uphold service and deliverable quality in line with BerryDunn’s Consulting Quality Management Program.
• Foster staff development and engage in or lead training and learning activities.
• Contribute to a positive, enjoyable, and innovative team culture within HHS.
• Bachelor’s degree in human services, public health, social services, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Over 8 years of experience with or for state government agencies that manage human services programs.
• Familiarity with state government human services programs, services, and policies.
• Experience in human services program management.
• Proven track record in leading project teams.
• Desire and experience in coaching and mentoring junior team members.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
• Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to document complex issues clearly and logically.
• Strong verbal and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex issues to various audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deliver quality results promptly.
• Capacity to foster and maintain positive working relationships with staff and diverse groups.
• Proficiency in working both independently and collaboratively.
• Skills in Microsoft Office suite, including MS PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and Excel.
• Availability to work Guam hours from 8 am to 12 pm Tuesday through Friday Chamorro Standard Time (ChST).
• Willingness to travel up to 50% based on client and project requirements.
