This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Assist federal clients in enhancing and modernizing grants management operations throughout the grants lifecycle, encompassing pre-award, award, and post-award phases.
• Evaluate business processes, operational models, and program performance to uncover risks, inefficiencies, bottlenecks, opportunities for enhancement, and actionable recommendations.
• Lead stakeholder interviews, workshops, working sessions, and activities for gathering requirements.
• Perform analyses and quality reviews to boost operational effectiveness, compliance, consistency, and program results.
• Create strategic and operational deliverables, such as assessments, process maps, workflow documentation, findings reports, recommendations, executive presentations, training materials, and client communications.
• Contribute to business transformation initiatives through business process improvement, gathering business requirements, Lean process analysis, technology assessment, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Work alongside cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize tasks, drive project execution, and meet client goals.
• Take ownership of and deliver high-quality work products while being part of a collaborative, client-focused consulting team.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust; candidates with an active Public Trust or suitability are preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in consulting, business analysis, grants management, process improvement, organizational effectiveness, or a related field.
• Required experience in the public sector and grants management.
• Familiarity with federal grants programs, including knowledge of the grants lifecycle, grants administration, operations, monitoring, compliance, and oversight activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in conducting business process analysis, process mapping, workflow documentation, and gathering business requirements.
• Proven experience facilitating interviews, stakeholder discussions, and collaborative working sessions.
• Ability to distill complex information and convey clear, well-supported findings through executive presentations, reports, and client deliverables.
• Strong consulting abilities, encompassing executive communication, presentation development, structured problem-solving, attention to detail, stakeholder management, and producing high-quality client deliverables.
• Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities, work independently, collaborate across teams, and deliver top-quality work in dynamic client environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams, and SharePoint.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or other process improvement certifications are preferred.
• Experience with Visio, Miro, or similar process mapping tools is preferred.
• Background in supporting organizational change management, stakeholder adoption, and the implementation of process improvement initiatives is preferred.
• Experience leading teams, coordinating stakeholders, and managing workstreams is preferred.
• Familiarity with supporting process modernization through automation, AI-enabled, or emerging technology solutions is preferred.
