Senior Consultant – Epic/Meditech Revenue Cycle, Healthcare Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Configure and enhance Epic and/or Meditech revenue cycle applications across front-end, middle, and back-end functions.

• Assist with multiple concurrent Epic and/or Meditech implementation or optimization initiatives.

• Evaluate existing workflows and propose Epic/Meditech-driven solutions.

• Develop and test configurations for Patient Access, HIM, Hospital Billing, Professional Billing, and Resolute applications.

• Facilitate end-user training sessions and create training materials.

• Document technical specifications, workflows, and system configurations comprehensively.

• Collaborate with project teams, client personnel, and technical resources effectively.

• Provide support during go-live activities, including command center assistance and issue resolution.

• Identify and troubleshoot system issues in partnership with vendor and internal technical teams.

• Contribute to knowledge management and the documentation of best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of an Associate's degree is required.

• At least four years of overall work experience.

• Experience in Epic/Meditech revenue cycle within an implementation, optimization, or analyst role.

• Practical configuration experience with Epic/Meditech revenue cycle applications.

• Solid understanding of front-end (registration, scheduling, pre-authorization), middle (charge capture, coding), and back-end (billing, collections, denials) revenue cycle functions.

• Experience supporting at least one complete Epic/Meditech implementation or major optimization project.

• Strong working knowledge of Epic revenue cycle applications, including Cadence, Prelude, Resolute Hospital Billing, Resolute Professional Billing, and/or Revenue Guardian, as well as Meditech Expanse and Meditech Dream.

• Familiarity with revenue cycle workflows, healthcare reimbursement models, and compliance requirements.

• Proficiency in Epic/Meditech reporting and analytics tools.

• Capability to configure Epic/Meditech workflows, rules, and system settings.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% based on client and project requirements.
