Senior Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the process of gathering requirements

• Create documentation for application design

• Develop and supervise the creation of dimensions, metadata, templates, reports, and data models

• Engage independently with clients to track risks and action items

• Prepare use cases and scripts for user acceptance testing

• Facilitate the user acceptance testing process

• Document guides for end users and provide training

• Follow established project management methodologies

• Comply with quality assurance procedures

• Effectively delegate tasks to junior team members

• Guide and mentor junior team members

• Take part in internal initiatives

• Engage in business development activities with current clients

• Enhance skills in emerging technologies

• Contribute to ongoing financial consolidation, planning, and reporting projects

• Create work plans and process documentation in accordance with policies and methodologies

• Assist in monitoring and contributing to key project performance metrics

• Work independently and collaboratively across multiple active projects

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years consulting experience

• At least 3 years of experience in financial processes, including planning, forecasting, financial reporting, and consolidations

• Proven experience in learning multiple technologies

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience

• Experience leading a team through at least one complete cycle of implementation engagement

• Ability to explain financial close concepts and detail the components of standard financial statements and key calculations

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to decompose abstract concepts into manageable parts

• Demonstrated accountability and personal motivation

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Capability to comprehend contracts and adhere to statements of work

• Skill in driving team momentum and influencing discussions in a remote setting

• Reliable access to high-speed internet that supports regular audio, video, and other web conferencing tools

• Ability to succeed in a remote, team-oriented environment

• Willingness to travel, typically between 15% to 30% throughout the year
