This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Facilitate the gathering of requirements
• Document the design of applications
• Construct and oversee the development of dimensions, metadata, templates, reports, and data models
• Independently communicate with clients to track risks and action items
• Prepare use cases and scripts for user acceptance testing
• Facilitate user acceptance testing processes
• Create end user guides and provide training
• Follow project management methodologies
• Comply with quality assurance processes
• Effectively delegate tasks to junior team members
• Mentor and coach junior team members
• Engage in internal initiatives
• Participate in business development efforts with existing clients
• Acquire skills in new technologies
• Contribute to ongoing financial consolidation, planning, and reporting projects
• Develop work plans and process documentation that adhere to policies and methodologies
• Assist in monitoring key project performance metrics
• Facilitate discussions with clients and build application components in EPM software
• Work independently and collaboratively across multiple active projects
• Significant consulting experience
• Strong familiarity with financial processes including planning, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial consolidations
• Proven experience in learning multiple technologies
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience
• Experience leading a team through at least one complete implementation engagement
• Ability to explain financial close concepts and describe the components of standard financial statements and key calculations
• Capability to problem-solve and deconstruct abstract concepts into manageable components
• Strong sense of accountability and personal drive
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to comprehend contracts and adhere to statements of work
• Skill in maintaining team momentum and influencing discussions in a remote setting
• Access to reliable, high-speed internet suitable for regular audio, video, and other web conferencing needs
• Ability to excel in a remote team environment
• Willingness to travel, typically averaging between 15% to 30% annually
