
Senior Construction Site Health and Safety Coordinator – Hydro-Québec Assignment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Implement occupational health and safety laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Provide guidance, support, and engage in the prevention initiatives of the construction site management team.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert in health and safety.
• Aid in enhancing the capabilities of project stakeholders, including external suppliers.
• Execute the daily tasks assigned to site safety teams.
• Operate on construction sites for power plants, substations, and transmission lines.
• Must possess the construction site health and safety coordinator card issued by CNESST.
• Familiarity with civil works, excavation, lifting operations, and work at height.
• Understanding of electrical hazards and the substation work code.
• In-depth knowledge of critical hazards, including work at height, energy sources, moving vehicles, and lifting operations.
• Technical skills and capabilities for entering daily information.
• Competence with Microsoft Office 365 tools, especially Teams and Outlook.
• Training related to the specific needs of hydroelectric facilities is a plus.
• Prior work experience with Hydro-Québec is advantageous.
• CDST 7th Central training is beneficial.
• Applicants for positions in Canada must have authorization to work in Canada.
• Four-day workweek, with shifts of 10 hours per day.
