This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Oversee program management and supervision of construction-related tasks for new data center builds and platform expansion projects based in Des Moines, with responsibility for scope, schedule, and budget.
• Propel cost efficiency and expedite schedules while ensuring quality and operational integrity are upheld.
• Assess the constructability of electrical, mechanical, and building systems related to new developments and platform optimization efforts for the Atlanta data center.
• Develop program scopes, outline equipment requirements, assist in RFP creation, aid in selecting General Contractors, and support the capital approval process.
• Guarantee overall program quality through involvement in commissioning, integrated systems testing, and readiness validation.
• Manage and address Requests for Information (RFIs) during construction, coordinating efforts with engineering teams and construction partners.
• Document, track, and report essential program metrics to internal stakeholders and leadership.
• Oversee multiple simultaneous programs across Edged’s Des Moines platform, including new construction and capital improvement projects.
• Provide technical leadership and foster continuous improvements in scheduling, cost management, risk mitigation, and change management practices.
• Collaborate with Regional Senior Program Managers to ensure that the cash flow for Des Moines projects aligns with budgetary and baseline expectations.
• Assist in the preparation and evaluation of owner change orders, analyzing schedule and cost implications.
• Manage monthly billing procedures and financial assessments.
• Create, oversee, and analyze intricate cost-loaded and resource-loaded schedules utilizing Primavera P6.
• Conduct schedule risk analyses, including Monte Carlo analysis, time impact analysis, critical path analysis, and resource leveling.
• Ensure that Autodesk Construction Cloud and related project data platforms are up-to-date for Atlanta projects.
• Generate regular program performance reports for leadership review.
• Aid in capital forecasting, ensuring alignment with platform delivery goals.
• Act as a leader within the Platform Delivery team and among internal and external project stakeholders.
• Work closely with design teams, contractors, commissioning agents, vendors, and operations teams supporting Des Moines facilities.
• Travel to project sites in the Atlanta area and other Edged facilities as necessary to assist with constructability reviews, startup testing, commissioning, and project execution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least seven (7) years of experience managing complex construction projects valued at over $250M, ideally within mission-critical or digital infrastructure settings.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in electrical, mechanical, controls, security, fire/life safety, networking/fiber, utilities, preconstruction, execution, and project closeout phases.
• Proven track record in managing project costs, schedules, and program performance for large-scale developments.
• Direct experience in supporting the design or construction of large-scale data center facilities (hyperscale, colocation, or enterprise environments).
• Strong negotiation and management skills with vendors, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Experience in delivering fast-track design-build projects.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively coordinate across multidisciplinary internal and external teams.
• Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling and advanced schedule analysis techniques.
