Senior Construction Estimator – Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Oversee the creation of precise and competitive proposals for multifamily, residential, and commercial projects, starting from the initial site visit to the final submission.

• Generate comprehensive and accurate cost estimations, from quantity takeoffs to finalized bid packages.

• Address RFPs and compile bid packages, including opportunities at the city, county, and local levels.

• Represent the organization both in-person and virtually during bid Q&A sessions and estimation presentations.

• Solicit and assess subcontractor pricing.

• Examine plans, specifications, and scopes of work to pinpoint project risks and identify cost-saving possibilities.

• Collaborate with project managers and leadership to create and enhance project budgets.

• Utilize AI tools to refine estimates and bid documentation.

• Assist with business development and fulfill other organizational needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of advancing experience in construction estimating, preferably including government RFPs.

• A proven history of successful bids in multi-family, residential, and commercial sectors.

• Proficient in Microsoft Project and comfortable utilizing AI tools.

• Strong comprehension of construction documents, specifications, and building regulations.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with a knack for building trust with clients and colleagues.

• A confident and persuasive demeanor, adept at guiding stakeholders through financial details.

• Capacity to work independently while managing key deliverables across various bids and deadlines.

• Patience and adaptability for the detail-oriented and paperwork-intensive aspects of government bidding.
