Senior Construction Estimator, Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive and precise cost estimates for multi-family, residential, and commercial projects, from quantity takeoffs to final bid packages.

• Address RFPs and compile bid packages, including opportunities at the city, county, and local levels.

• Represent the organization both in-person and virtually during bid Q&A sessions and estimation presentations.

• Solicit and assess subcontractor pricing to ensure competitive and comprehensive bids.

• Review plans, specifications, and scopes of work to identify potential project risks and opportunities for cost savings.

• Collaborate with project managers and leadership to create and refine project budgets.

• Utilize AI tools to enhance estimates and bid documentation.

• Contribute in various areas to assist the business in progressing, including business development.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in construction estimating, preferably including government RFPs.

• Demonstrated success in securing bids for multi-family, residential, and commercial projects.

• Proficient in Microsoft Project.

• Comfortable utilizing AI tools.

• Strong grasp of construction documents, specifications, and building codes.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Capacity to gain the trust of clients and colleagues.

• A confident and persuasive demeanor, able to guide stakeholders through numerical data.

• Ability to function independently while meeting critical deadlines across multiple bids.

• Patience and adaptability to handle the detail-oriented and paperwork-intensive demands of government bidding.
