This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Oversee designated accounts and cultivate positive relationships with clients and construction contractors.
• Act as the subject matter expert on construction contracts, proposals, and operational matters.
• Enhance client retention, renewals, upselling, and overall client satisfaction.
• Supervise project support activities, including scope development, material take-offs, proposal reviews, and construction management.
• Manage Account Managers regarding daily operational processes, contract renewals, scheduling, troubleshooting, and software training.
• Determine root causes of customer successes and challenges, and drive necessary process improvements.
• Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to surpass customer goals and performance metrics.
• Contribute insights on new processes and workflows.
• Ensure outstanding customer service, operational excellence, and strategic insights.
• Coordinate with Finance on billing arrangements and invoicing.
• Recruit and develop team members, including setting objectives and conducting performance evaluations.
• Mentor and support team members.
• Engage in budget planning, revenue forecasting, and profit-and-loss management.
• Present program reviews to senior management of clients.
• Assist the sales team in identifying business opportunities beyond Job Order Contracting.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in a relevant field of study or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in construction procurement, construction management, or general contracting, particularly in healthcare construction.
• Familiarity with key concepts such as plans, deliverables, scope, and tasks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external organizations.
• Capacity to build relationships and earn trust through effective communication, expectation management, and timely delivery of commitments.
• Solid decision-making, analytical, and organizational abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Consultative approach to managing complex client relationships.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities across various projects.
• Practical knowledge and experience in preparing and processing construction bid documents.
• Capability to identify client or staffing issues, devise effective solutions, and recognize when to escalate matters.
• Valid US driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel 50–70% of the time within the assigned geographic area (Cook County, Illinois).
