This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and enhance WEKA's competitive and market intelligence initiative, encompassing sources, tools, workflows, taxonomy, operational cadence, governance, distribution, and feedback mechanisms.
• Establish a reliable and up-to-date system of record for intelligence.
• Generate insights on key competitors regarding their products, architecture, performance, positioning, clients, partnerships, business models, and go-to-market strategies.
• Monitor competitor pricing, packaging, licensing, consumption models, and commercial updates.
• Observe shifts in AI infrastructure technology, market structures, customer needs, emerging categories, cloud and neocloud dynamics, ecosystem changes, business models, and purchasing trends.
• Convert competitive, market, customer, and field signals into actionable strategic recommendations.
• Create competitive positioning, battlecards, playbooks, objection handling strategies, comparison frameworks, executive briefs, and other field resources.
• Develop scalable field intelligence, competitive deal feedback, and win/loss programs in collaboration with Sales and GTM Operations.
• Assist in identifying strategic competitive opportunities alongside Sales and Solutions Engineering.
• Provide succinct, decision-focused competitive and market briefings to Product, GTM, and executive leadership.
• Leverage AI, automation, and contemporary intelligence tools to track signals and expedite research and synthesis.
• Collaborate with Product and Product Marketing on discussions regarding the roadmap, positioning, messaging, launches, category strategy, campaigns, and thought leadership.
• Integrate analyst research, industry insights, market data, and third-party validation.
• Establish metrics for intelligence adoption, field engagement, competitive win/loss trends, effectiveness of competitive strategies, and strategic impact.
• Over 6 years of experience in competitive intelligence, market intelligence, product marketing, product strategy, management consulting, industry research, or a closely related role within enterprise technology.
• Proven track record of personally developing or significantly scaling a competitive or market intelligence program.
• Strong background in conducting competitive research and analysis and translating complex insights into positioning, recommendations, enablement, and executive-level insights.
• High technical aptitude with the ability to understand enterprise infrastructure architectures, product features, performance claims, integrations, and technical differentiation.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML infrastructure, accelerated computing, cloud computing, data platforms, storage and memory technologies, or similar enterprise infrastructure technologies.
• Experience in establishing field intelligence and win/loss programs.
• Excellent skills in both primary and secondary research.
• Outstanding written, visual, and verbal communication abilities.
• Familiarity with using AI, automation, and competitive or market intelligence tools.
• Demonstrated capability to influence Product, Sales, Marketing, and executive stakeholders without direct authority.
• Strong business acumen and a results-driven mindset.
• Comfortable working as a senior individual contributor with a high degree of autonomy.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or business field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Residing in North America.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
