Senior Compensation Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Enhance capacity across compensation initiatives, ongoing processes, and key projects.

• Assist in annual compensation activities, encompassing merit increases, promotions, and equity cycles, from planning to execution.

• Verify compensation information, ensure accurate models, and create analyses, reports, and recommendations.

• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Accounting, and relevant People teams to coordinate equity awards for new hires, promotions, and internal moves.

• Perform market pricing, benchmarking, job evaluations, and internal equity assessments.

• Offer compensation advice to HR Business Partners and business leaders.

• Back process enhancements, pay equity analysis, program documentation, and the creation of tools and templates.

• Manage sensitive employee and compensation data with utmost care and confidentiality.

• Recognize opportunities to enhance process efficiency, consistency, and quality.

• Work cross-functionally and report to the Senior Director of Total Rewards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in compensation, preferably within a fast-paced or global organization or a consulting firm.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret data and propose evidence-based solutions.

• Proficient in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and data modeling.

• Experience in managing compensation processes or projects from conception to implementation.

• Capability to articulate complex subjects clearly, both in writing and verbally.

• Ability to forge effective relationships with HR Business Partners and business leaders.

• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, independent judgment, and follow-through when prioritizing tasks.

• Must already possess legal authorization to work in the United States or Canada; 1Password will not provide work authorization, relocation support, or visa sponsorship/transferring.

• Familiarity with compensation surveys, market data, equity administration platforms, international compensation, executive compensation, or pay equity is advantageous.

• Successful candidates will be required to undergo a background check.
