Senior Compensation Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver intricate compensation consulting services to Human Resources and leadership for designated areas.

• Perform job evaluations and competitive salary analyses.

• Create and execute compensation strategies, programs, and initiatives.

• Carry out benchmarking, market research, and statistical evaluations.

• Advise client groups on compensation policies and programs.

• Execute job evaluations, review job classifications, assess new job title requests, and revise job descriptions.

• Oversee and manage compensation projects and initiatives.

• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and support best practices in compensation.

• Prepare costing analyses, ad hoc reports, and compensation metrics.

• Engage in the annual wage planning process.

• Track labor market trends and suggest updates to salary structures and pay practices.

• Maintain and audit compensation data within the HR system.

• Offer guidance on compensation, training, and updates on regulations.

• Collaborate with Human Resources, Payroll, and organizational leaders on complex operational matters and compensation-related changes.

• Ensure that compensation practices align with federal, state, and local regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Total Rewards, Compensation, or as an HR Business Partner, with at least three (3) years specifically in Compensation.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

• At least two (2) years of experience in a hospital or healthcare-related setting is preferred.
