This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +3 more states.
• Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of employer partnerships within designated communities.
• Promote awareness of the ACT WorkKeys NCRC and encourage the use of WorkKeys workforce tools.
• Build connections with chambers of commerce and economic development organizations.
• Position WRC certification as a key asset for workforce and talent attraction.
• Manage a portfolio of WRC communities and monitor their certification progress.
• Identify opportunities for advancement and initiate actions to propel communities forward.
• Expand the distribution of WorkKeys curriculum licenses, assessments, and credentials.
• Collaborate with ACT Sales for contract execution.
• Link communities with federal and state workforce funding opportunities.
• Foster introductions and partnerships among employers, training providers, workforce boards, and educational partners.
• Keep accurate records in the CRM pipeline.
• Provide consistent reporting on employer acquisition, community development, and product growth.
• Complete structured onboarding for the WRC six-level framework and WorkKeys product suite.
• Cultivate relationships with community contacts and chamber partners.
• Create employer recognitions and initiate discussions around WorkKeys curriculum licenses.
• Spot opportunities for certification level advancement.
• Exhibit commercial success through employer recognitions, community progress, and product revenue growth or expansion.
• Operate independently within the assigned portfolio while contributing to the overall strategic goals of WRC.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Over 5 years in account management, business development, or economic development, demonstrating measurable growth outcomes.
• Experience managing a portfolio of accounts or community/government partnerships.
• Proven track record in selling or promoting workforce, education, or credentialing solutions to employers or workforce organizations.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and strong pipeline management practices.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills for engaging with both internal and external audiences at all levels of the organization.
• Willingness to travel 30-50% within the assigned region.
• Preference for candidates based in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, or Kansas.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economic Development, Workforce Development, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A Master's degree in business, economic development, workforce development, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with federal workforce funding programs such as WIOA or Perkins is preferred.
• Experience collaborating with chambers of commerce, economic development corporations, or workforce investment boards is preferred.
• Background in consultative or solution selling in a B2B or government-related context is preferred.
• Knowledge of ACT WorkKeys products and the NCRC credentialing framework is preferred.
• Applicants must have authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for visa sponsorship.
• Final candidates must undergo a criminal background check as a condition of employment.
• Completion of the ACT National Career Readiness Certificate is recommended.
