This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +3 more states.
• Develop and oversee a dynamic pipeline of employer relationships within designated communities.
• Promote the recognition of the ACT WorkKeys NCRC and encourage the adoption of WorkKeys workforce tools.
• Build connections with chambers of commerce and economic development organizations.
• Position the WRC certification as a vital asset for workforce and talent attraction.
• Manage a portfolio of WRC communities and monitor certification advancements.
• Identify opportunities for growth and take actions to propel communities forward.
• Expand the distribution of WorkKeys curriculum licenses, assessments, and credentials.
• Collaborate with ACT Sales on contract management.
• Link communities to federal and state workforce funding sources.
• Facilitate networking and partnerships among employers, training providers, workforce boards, and educational partners.
• Keep accurate CRM pipeline records.
• Provide consistent reporting on employer acquisition, community development, and product growth.
• Conduct structured onboarding for the WRC six-level framework and WorkKeys product suite.
• Operate independently across the assigned portfolio while contributing to broader WRC strategic objectives.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, business development, or economic development with proven growth results.
• Experience in managing a portfolio of accounts or community/government partnerships.
• Proven success in selling or positioning workforce, education, or credentialing solutions to employers or workforce organizations.
• Proficient in CRM and possess strong pipeline management skills.
• Exceptional presentation and communication abilities for both internal and external audiences at all organizational levels.
• Willingness to travel 30-50% within the assigned region.
• Candidates based in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, or Kansas are preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economic Development, Workforce Development, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the necessity for visa sponsorship.
• A Master’s degree in business, economic development, workforce development, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with federal workforce funding programs such as WIOA or Perkins is preferred.
• Experience collaborating with chambers of commerce, economic development corporations, or workforce investment boards is preferred.
• Background in consultative or solution selling in a B2B or government-related context is preferred.
• Familiarity with ACT WorkKeys products and the NCRC credentialing ecosystem is preferred.
