This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Develop and oversee a dynamic pipeline of employer relationships within designated communities.
• Promote awareness of the ACT WorkKeys NCRC and encourage the use of WorkKeys workforce tools.
• Forge partnerships with chambers of commerce and economic development organizations.
• Position the WRC certification as a valuable asset for workforce and talent attraction.
• Manage a portfolio of WRC communities, monitor progress, identify growth opportunities, and implement strategies to advance communities.
• Propel the expansion of WorkKeys curriculum licenses, assessments, and credentials within the designated portfolio.
• Collaborate with ACT Sales for contract execution.
• Link communities to federal and state workforce funding sources.
• Facilitate connections and collaborations among employers, training providers, workforce boards, and educational partners.
• Maintain records in the CRM pipeline.
• Provide consistent updates on employer acquisition, community development, and product growth.
• Complete onboarding for the WRC six-level framework and WorkKeys product suite.
• Cultivate relationships with community contacts and chamber partners.
• Showcase commercial success through employer recognitions, community progress, and product revenue enhancement.
• Operate independently within the portfolio while contributing to broader WRC strategic objectives.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, business development, or economic development with proven growth results.
• Experience in managing a portfolio of accounts or community/government partnerships.
• A successful track record in selling or positioning workforce, education, or credentialing solutions to employers or workforce organizations.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and effective pipeline management practices.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills for engaging with internal and external audiences at all organizational levels.
• Willingness to travel 30-50% within the assigned region.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economic Development, Workforce Development, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides comparable knowledge and abilities.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship.
• A Master’s degree in business, economic development, workforce development, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with federal workforce funding programs such as WIOA or Perkins is preferred.
• Experience collaborating with chambers of commerce, economic development corporations, or workforce investment boards is preferred.
• Background in consultative or solution selling within a B2B or government-adjacent context is preferred.
• Knowledge of ACT WorkKeys products and the NCRC credentialing ecosystem is preferred.
• Completion of the ACT National Career Readiness Certificate is recommended.
