This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive community engagement initiatives within designated markets and enhance CoreWeave's social license to operate.
• Cultivate reliable local relationships and steer cross-functional engagement strategies.
• Ensure that community considerations play a role in site selection, permitting, construction, and operational processes.
• Conduct independent assessments of local risks and opportunities, and convert community developments into actionable business insights.
• Oversee the creation and negotiation of community benefit agreements.
• Provide support for PILOTs, RDAs, and various development agreements.
• Manage local partnerships and community investment efforts.
• Direct employee-driven community impact initiatives through CoreWeave Cares and Employee Action Networks.
• Take ownership of cross-functional community engagement strategies alongside Government Affairs, Communications, People, Legal, Development, Operations, and other teams.
• Lead the Community Affairs contributions to site selection and project due diligence processes.
• Evaluate community sentiment, political contexts, stakeholder priorities, local opposition, and reputational risks.
• Represent CoreWeave in community, political, and public discussions.
• Formulate and implement market-specific engagement strategies, milestones, action plans, and escalation protocols.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver reporting and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Administer budgets for engagement activities, events, sponsorships, partnerships, and community investments.
• Create scalable processes, stakeholder management practices, and coordination models for the Community Affairs function.
• Bachelor's degree in Public Affairs, Political Science, Urban Planning, or a related area.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in community affairs, stakeholder engagement, social performance, public affairs, government relations, or external communications.
• Experience in supporting data centers, energy, or other large-scale critical infrastructure projects, including permitting or entitlement procedures.
• Proven ability to independently lead complex, multi-market stakeholder strategies and translate local developments into comprehensive business recommendations.
• Demonstrated success in establishing trusted relationships with senior government officials, community organizations, business associations, labor representatives, and other local stakeholders.
• Experience in advising senior leaders and coordinating specialized cross-functional teams in politically sensitive or high-visibility settings.
• Proficiency in using stakeholder management tools and metrics to monitor engagement activities, risks, commitments, and outcomes.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and effectively manage priorities across multiple markets.
